Via Ferrata in Val Gardena

Did you know that there are more than 700 climbing routes in Gröden / Gardena? Furthermore, in recent years, a number of interesting cable-lined trails (via ferrata) have been set up around St. Ulrich, St. Christina, and Wolkenstein which lead into the Gröden Dolomites.

So there's nothing keeping you from enjoying an exciting day of hiking along the cable-line routes. Of course, before the adventure can begin, you'll need your via ferrata set, helmet, mountain-climbing boots, and gloves. Highlights include steep passages along ridges and suspension bridges. There's a wide variety of interesting trails for beginners, children, and families, too. For example, two exciting via ferrata will take you to the Lesser and the Greater Cir summit. The entrance to the two quite short "vie ferrate" doesn't take much time, and the individual passages are short and well-secured with cables. Nevertheless, one should never underestimate hikes on the cable-lined trails, and always be well equipped. Once you've arrived at the summits of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, you can gaze in awe at the majestic panorama spanning the entire alpine region.
